The corruption and the prevailing professional hitch between the cop and their respective regime are also brilliantly displayed by Kubrick and this hitch also serves as an important motif of the murders in the film. Last but not the least, the role of femme fatale in terms of agitating the whole process of murder as a catalyst is also commendable. Money plays the sole link between all the characters of the movie. It serves as a chief tempter and main motif behind all the murders taking place within the suspense filled plot of the story.
